Who we are

SensexIQ is an educational stock-signal, screener, portfolio, watchlist, news, and financial-calculator platform for Indian retail investors. It is operated by Priyanshu Dutta. In this policy, SensexIQ, we, us, and our refer to the operator and the software platform.

SensexIQ is not a SEBI-registered investment adviser, research analyst, broker, exchange, portfolio manager, or distributor. The platform processes user data to provide product functionality such as authentication, watchlists, portfolio health, alerts, calculators, saved preferences, and account support. We do not sell personal data to advertisers or data brokers.

2

Data fiduciary and grievance contact

Priyanshu Dutta is the operator responsible for SensexIQ's product data practices. For privacy questions, security issues, data access, correction, deletion, consent withdrawal, nomination support, or grievance redressal, email priyanshudutta248@gmail.com from your registered email address whenever possible.

We aim to acknowledge and respond to privacy and grievance requests within 30 days. If a request needs more verification or technical work, we may ask for additional account context before changing or disclosing user data.

3

Personal data we collect

When you create or use an account, we may collect your email address, hashed password, email verification status, session status, account timestamps, and security-related metadata. Passwords are stored as hashes and are not stored in plaintext.

When you use product features, we may collect portfolio names, stock symbols, quantities, average prices, watchlist symbols, alert preferences, calculator inputs saved by the product, and settings you choose. This data is entered voluntarily by you and is used to show portfolio health, watchlist state, signals, alerts, and related product screens.

When the application has an error-monitoring provider configured, we may receive runtime error details such as browser context, URL path, stack trace, and device information. Authentication cookies and passwords should be scrubbed from these reports, but you should avoid entering sensitive personal identifiers into free-text product fields.

5

Data we do not collect

SensexIQ does not ask for broker login credentials, trading passwords, demat passwords, bank account passwords, card numbers, CVV, UPI PIN, Aadhaar, PAN, or government-issued identity documents for normal product use. Do not send these details by email or support message.

The platform is designed as a research and education workspace. It does not place trades, debit accounts, manage funds, execute orders, or connect to a broker terminal by default. If a future integration changes this data model, this policy will be updated before that integration is made available.

6

How we use data

We use account data to create sessions, authenticate users, protect accounts, send verification or password-reset emails, and maintain platform security. We use portfolio and watchlist data to calculate holdings, current value, unrealized profit or loss, allocation, health score, risk score, diversification, beta, volatility, and related views.

We use alert preferences to determine whether an end-of-day or signal notification should be sent. We use product telemetry and support context to fix bugs, improve page speed, reduce mobile clutter, prioritize product improvements, and respond to user requests. We may use aggregated, non-identifying usage patterns to understand which product areas need better design or explanation.

We do not use personal data to provide personalized investment advice. A signal or portfolio metric shown to a user is product output, not human advisory activity.

7

Cookies and sessions

SensexIQ uses a first-party session cookie for authentication. The production cookie is intended to be HttpOnly and Secure so it is not readable by normal client-side JavaScript and is transmitted over secure connections. Local development behavior may differ because localhost environments do not always use the same cookie restrictions.

We do not intentionally use advertising cookies. If analytics, product telemetry, or additional cookies are introduced later, the product and this policy should be updated to explain their purpose. Blocking the session cookie may prevent login and authenticated features from working.

8

Third-party processors

SensexIQ may use infrastructure and product processors such as frontend hosting, backend hosting, database hosting, email delivery, and error monitoring. These providers process data only to help operate the service. Examples may include Vercel for frontend hosting, Railway or another backend/database host, Resend or another email provider, and Sentry or another error-monitoring provider when configured.

Third-party market-data and news providers may be used to power public stock pages, market context, screeners, signals, and headlines. Those providers are generally used for market information rather than user identity. Their availability, retention, and policies are governed by their own terms.

9

Storage, security, and retention

Account and product data is stored in application databases and infrastructure selected for the deployment. We use reasonable technical controls such as password hashing, transport security, access controls, and minimal collection. No internet service can guarantee perfect security, so users should keep their passwords unique and report suspicious activity quickly.

Account, portfolio, watchlist, and alert data is retained while the account remains active or as needed to operate the service. If you request account deletion, we aim to delete or anonymize personal account data within 30 days unless legal, security, backup, fraud-prevention, or operational constraints require a limited retention period. Error logs and email delivery logs may have separate retention periods set by the relevant processor.

10

Security incidents

If we become aware of a security incident affecting personal data, we will investigate, contain the issue where possible, and take legally required notification steps for affected users and applicable authorities. We may also rotate credentials, disable sessions, reset access, or request user action if that is needed to reduce risk.

Users should report suspected account compromise, unexpected login behavior, or sensitive information accidentally shared with support as soon as possible. Do not send passwords, OTPs, broker credentials, bank credentials, PAN, Aadhaar, card numbers, or UPI PINs to SensexIQ.

11

Your rights under the DPDP Act 2023

If you are a data principal under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023, you may request access, correction, deletion, grievance redressal, and nomination support by emailing priyanshudutta248@gmail.com from your registered email address. We may ask for reasonable verification before acting on a request so account data is not disclosed or deleted for the wrong person.

If a request is unclear, we may ask for clarification. If a request cannot be completed fully because of legal, fraud-prevention, security, backup, or technical reasons, we will explain the practical limitation where appropriate.

12

Cross-border processing and processor changes

SensexIQ may use infrastructure, email, monitoring, and hosting providers that process data in India or other jurisdictions depending on the selected deployment. We choose processors for product operations, security, reliability, and support. If a legal restriction prevents transfer to a particular jurisdiction or provider, we will update our processing approach accordingly.

If we add materially different processors, broker integrations, paid subscriptions, analytics cookies, or new categories of account data, this policy should be updated so users can understand the changed data flow before relying on the feature.

13

Children and age limits

SensexIQ is intended for users who are at least 18 years old. We do not knowingly create accounts for children. If you believe a minor has created an account or shared personal data with us, contact us so we can review and remove the account where appropriate.

Financial-market education can be useful for younger audiences, but account-based investing tools should be used by adults or under appropriate guardian supervision.

14

Changes and contact

We may update this policy when product features, processors, legal obligations, or data practices change. The effective date on this page shows the latest version. For privacy questions, account deletion, data correction, or complaints, email priyanshudutta248@gmail.com.

Continued use of SensexIQ after a policy update means you accept the updated policy for future use. If you do not agree with a material update, stop using the product and request account deletion.
